PAAH Scholarship
As an organization, we aim to be the authoritative voice representing Asian PAs in the medical profession. We believe in fostering excellence — from supporting PA students through mentorship and clinical training to providing professional development for practicing PAs.
This scholarship aims to recognize PA students who not only excel academically, but who also embody the values of service, advocacy, cultural humility, and leadership. Recipients are expected to contribute meaningfully to PAAH’s mission through continued engagement, service, and collaboration.
Recipients are honored annually at the PAAH Scholarship Award Ceremony at the AAPA Conference.

Thank you so much for this incredible honor; I am truly grateful to accept the PAAH scholarship As a South Asian Pakistani PA student and the daughter of first-generation immigrants, this recognition is especially meaningful to me. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the disparities faced by members of my community, from financial barriers to challenges with health literacy and language access.
Organizations like PAAH play such an important role in empowering students like myself to address these gaps and better serve our communities. I am honored to be supported by a group that is so committed to advancing Asian health and uplifting the next generation of physician assistants. Thank you!

Growing up, my grandparents raised me with a deep appreciation for Cantonese culture and values, and I am committed to carrying these values forward as a future PA. I am deeply inspired by PAAH’s dedication to advancing Asian health, through supporting and building a strong network of providers passionate about this population. I'd like to extend immense gratitude to PAAH and each member for their support toward future and current PAs who are committed to Asian health!
The PAs in Asian Health Scholarship Fund was created with a simple but powerful mission — to build a future where Asian communities receive equitable care delivered by compassionate, well-trained Physician Assistants (PAs). This fund supports PAs of all backgrounds who serve Asian populations, helping them grow as leaders, educators, and advocates for better health access.
We also partnered with FlyThree Activewear to help ease the financial burden of PA education. Through this partnership, proceeds directly support scholarships for PA students, helping reduce financial barriers and invest in a more diverse, equitable future in healthcare.
